Each yoga class is personalized to the student and includes one or more of the following yoga styles: therapeutic alignment, yin, stretching, or focus on specific poses.

WHY YOGA?

Yoga calms and balances the mind and body, reduces stress and anxiety, increases circulation, improves flexibility, releases fascia and improves joint mobility, improves sleep and digestion, strengthens the mind and the body, balances the internal organs, and improves the flow of energy in the body.

Yin yoga uses gravity to do most of the work. Most of these poses are on the floor and held for 2-5 minutes with focused attention on the breath. Yin yoga gives you the time and space to allow emotions, thoughts and feelings you have kept in the shadows, to surface.

Therapeutic alignment yoga is a combination of restorative yoga, alignment, breathwork, and use of props to encourage proper alignment and avoid compensation.

Workshop your yoga is an opportunity to work on specific poses that are difficult for you. Increases confidence in each pose and your overall practice as well as relieving and preventing injury.
